Egg Harbor Twp., NJ (October 12, 2023) – The second of seven planned buildings in the National Aerospace Research & Technology Park (NARTP) has entered the construction phase of its development. This milestone will be celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the construction site in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Following the groundbreaking, a reception will be held inside the NARTP’s first building, which opened in 2019, and is fully occupied with aviation research companies and tenants including the FAA and NASA. Another tenant, General Dynamics Information Technology, will conduct a UAS demonstration during the groundbreaking ceremony.

The NARTP is catalyzing innovation with an ecosystem of partnerships and harnessing the power of collaboration, facilitating research and development, innovation, and commercialization of emerging aviation technologies.

NARTP is located on a 58-acre parcel adjoining the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, an internationally recognized facility dedicated to research, development, and sustainment of the National Airspace System; and the Atlantic City International Airport, a designated Smart Airport Research Test Bed Facility.
